The aim of this PHECC First Aid Response course is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to be a First Aid ResponderFirst Aid Responder Course

Course objectives:

At the completion of this PHECC First Aid course learners will be able to:

• deal with life threatening or potentially life threatening conditions in the pre-hospital environment until arrival of emergency medical services.
• provide First Aid Response for conditions not thought to be life-threatening but are necessary to prevent further harm before the emergency medical services arrive.

First Aid Response Recertification Course Online Delivery Methodology

Elearning followed by practical demonstration and assessment in  the classroom

The elearning course is hosted on our WordPress Learning Management System. This is comprised of self-paced on-demand eLearning Modules

At the end of each module there is a quiz. Time has been allowed for remediation where the learner can redo the module if the quiz has not been successfully completed.

The learning course is then followed by a traditional classroom session which involves practical demonstration and skills assessment.

In the first part of the classroom session the theory is recapped and then the learners complete the 20 question MCQ. In the second part of the classroom session practical skills are practiced and assessed.

You will be required to complete a 20 questions MCQ on the final Day.  Allow 4 hours for the revision of your notes in preparation for this.
